Considering the overall investment to get out to the track, running race gas (100) at the track is a wise move. It's a fraction of the overall cost of the day, and worst case is that you eat that fraction. Best case is that it saves you a lot of wear and tear, or a critical failure - one that can put you into a wall or worse.

92 octane pump premium. Plain Old Gas.
