Default Zeitronix user input

Is there a way to monitor duty cycle of the injectors trough the user input of the zeitronix?

i have the lindsey racing injector duty cycle / air fuel monitor also, can i connect it to the zeitronix some way and monitor the duty cycle that way?

Nope, not with the Zeitronix.

why not?
because user input on zeitronix is 0-5v and injectors are 0-12v or??

Correct, and I doubt it has the accuracy to measure injector duty cycles.

Well, it will take a little work. You can measure a duty cycle with a analog input, you need to add a RC circuit to change the pulses into a DC voltage. The trick is the correct selection of the RC values to reduce the voltage ripple and the calibration of the voltage vs duty cycle. The 944 injector pulse has a set then maintain output so it really isn't a true pulse.

The RC time constant should be at least 100 times the period of the injector pulses and you need to clamp the signal since they have a large voltage kick when the injectors turn off.

Funny, they were making Duty Cycle meters several year s ago but I couldn't find one. Another way to measure DC is with a dwell meter.

That is how the Inject Duty Cycle monitors worked.

This might be a stupid question but, if you use the ZT-2 kit will you need the stock 02 sensor too?

The stock O2 senor is faster and more durable then an WB O2. So I would leave the stock O2 sensor in place an add a WB O2 sensor.

As I no longer have the stock exhaust, where did the stock 02 sensor go. I had SFR weld in a bung about mid way down on the pipe that connects to the downpipe (before the wastegate tie in). I'm sure they knew exactly where to put it. But I was having that put on for the Zeitronix. So, I don't know where I would put the stock 02 sensor. Any help is welcome.

the stock O2 goes in the cross-over and (WideBand) O2 goes where SFR welded the bung.

So that means that the Zeitronix has really nothing to do with any stock functions and the stock 02 sensor just hooks up the wiring harness as usual?

Zeitronix 02 sensor is just so I can keep an eye on A/F, EGT, and data logging?
