These are 996/Boxter http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=35

What year is your car? 86 IIRC?

As such, they will not fit without spacers as they have late offsets and you have early offsets. Most people run 1" (25mm) or 1 1/4" (30mm) spacers to accommodate late offsets wheels.

If your's is a 1988, it is a late offset, so you would not need spacers.

Here is a good link that provides some info on offsetshttp://www.cantonia.com/wheel_offset.html

However, I was pretty sure that the BBS wheels that you have are for early offset cars. When you pull a wheel can you see a stamping that says ET 52 somewhere on them.

My bad, Paseb...I thought you were 86.

If you are 88 than no spacers. If early...21mm front, 28mm rear.

If they are true OEM PORSCHE wheels in very good condition $800...then descend to around 350-400 if they need complete refinishing.

Check your PM. My numbers match CPRs, just in CDN funds.

Note there are other options for sale in the classifieds and they will give you an idea of the value.

I bought a set of these wheels with tires in good condition off craigslist for around $400 US. I didn't like the look once they were on the car so I sold them.

You should be able to get them cheaper off ebay. $800 is pretty high unless you want them right now. If you can wait and keep looking, you should be able to get them much cheaper.
I picked up a set of 18" 996 turbo wheels and tires for $575 shipped. They normally go for at least $1000 but I was patient.

did you take a picture with the wheels, i would like to see the look with them on it

i love twist and 996 wheels, but they are 18" and heard tires prices are really high...

i would prefer 17" wheels

I have those on my 87 944 n/a. I use them on the track. they have 255/45/17 michelin sport tires. I bought the wheels and tires for $900 on craiglist last year. I got a good deal the tires are still good after 4 DE events. I rolled the fenders to accomadate the size. i may have to switch to a staggered tire size. the wide front tires seem to make the steering more difficult on the track and of course the street.
Sorry to ramble but they do look good on the car.

Another reason to prefer the 17" is that our roads here in Canada (especially Quebec) are awful and the extra sidewall height provides a better ride quality.

Suggest that you check out the following thread for wheel ideas and looks
