Default Cam tower assembly torque specs/

Help...can't find these in Hanyes or Clarks. I'm reassembling the cam tower and don't know what the torque specs are for:
1) front cam cover (no gasket) didn't forget the onion seal
2) rear cam cover (cork gasket)
3) Cheese hd bolt

BTW-it appears that the cam sits slightly off center of the lifter...sound right?

Thanks in advance for your help...

Look under Cam 03 Oil seal replacement on Clarks Garage, all the specs are there. The off center question is one I asked a few weeks ago. I didnt get anyone to reply that they had visually confirmed their lifters were off center, but I got a few guesses as to why they would be...keeps the lifter rotating in the bore.

Something like 10-12 ft lbs to tighten.....but around 50 ftlbs to undo!!
Yes the lifters are offcenter.
And no - never use a ball tiped allen wrench to undo the cam tower bolts....trust me on that!

Me too. Even Snap-on ball tiped break off, and it is no easy task to get them out.

Thanks guys for the info, after searching again, I did find the answers in Clarks. As far as the off center question, I thought it might be for keeping the lifters rotating and YES, getting the bolts holding the cam tower were amazingly tight! Thought I was going to shear a bolt and then "POP"...scary, those are in there!
Anyway. it's all back together, some final checks and fire her tomorrow!

Use a 1/2 inch rachet for more control and less chance of slipping/stripping, etc.

I heard you Chris White the ball type with has cause me to "drop" the bolt into the cam casing upon reassemble. Meaning if i cant fish it out off comes the cam case again!
