Thanks Gents, mighty nice of you to say so. EEHAAH! Actually I copied Rod on these. He had a set some time ago and then had them powdercoated too. I always liked them plus they're cheap compared to other better quality wheels. Japanese quality can't be ignored.

Oh and Duke they're just too purdy to keep all to myself.

Antenna was there before Mark, but I still have the original windscreen one too including quite a few chips.

Go to bed Joe.....err, to sleep that is...

Get those on there and take some close up pics. I have been thinking about these wheels and I want to see how they look up close

Nice wheels Patrick, really not that heavy I think. You know that I am a big fan of a square setup for our cars.

I have also powdercoated some of my wheels, looks good, but my workshop guy says it could camouflage some hairline cracks. Inspect regularly.

Yes there is a lot of conjecture over powdercoating. These are brand spanking but will need looking at regularly.

As for the square setup, that's what I'm attempting but I am a bit concerned about not having enough rubber on the rears. I could maybe put some wider tyres on there or perhaps some spacers to try and increase the track width.

Can you post some specific shots of how the tires clear once it's all together. I'm looking at trying to run a similar setup and would love to learn from yours.

Well I'm still in a state of decision making as far as what tyres to go for. There seems to be quite differing views of running 280mm all round. All the people that I'm talking to, I respect so I have to sort it out and soon.
Dillon, thanks for the nice compliments. I have posted quite a few pics to the point that people are most likely sick of them....well since you asked so nicely.

Correct plus it adds weight. I have seen as much as a pound + per wheel.

1 pound extra just due to p/coating?? What did they use Gold Leaf? That seems excessive doesn't it? I guess really the weight issue is mostly relevant to full on race cars. They can also afford Composite or Magnesium wheels or whatever the Ultralights are made of, and then just chuck 'em after one race. So for us it's still about value, looks, size, strength...and lightness too.
