Where to get copper headgasket?
Ive been researching what headgasket to use on my 3.0L with an O-ringed head. I believe my MLS headgasket is too thick to use with O-rings, the middle sheet of steel is .75mm and the entire gasket is 1.45mm's thick. I read on cometics website that you should not use there gaskets with O-rings. I know people here have done it but I don't feel comfortable doing it with a gasket that thick. I want to run 25psi so I feel that widefire is out of the question. So who sells copper head gaskets, and whats a safe thickness?
Any help would be greatly aprecciated.

www.headgasket.com Mordy Dunst will make one just about any way you want. Thick or thin, coated or not. Keep us informed on what you go with.

while the copper is soft and will conform, I think (JMHO) it's too soft. David Floyd is a prime example of MLS doing to the job with O-rings and the WF with proper tune is just fine. If you're going to run 25 psi, the head gasket is the least of your worries, it ends up being just another gasket at that boost level. Many other things come into play. MLS can be ordered in almost any thickness and if copper were truly worth the "$hit", everyone would stock them. Wonder why they don't?
