Hello all, I just joined this forum. It seems that there is a great deal of knowledge and expertise here. I'm currently with my second 944, and what an experience it has been. I'm rebuilding the motor on my 951, at the moment. A very very long process it has been. Looking forward to getting to know the forum. Here's a few pics of my toy:

Welcome to the list. Crystal Green Metallic LM6Y - rare paint color - very cool! What are you having to fix on the motor in that one pic - bent valves?

Welcome Matt. You've come to the right place for 951 help. I'm also rebuilding one of mine at the moment...it's the 'while you are in there' stuff slowing me down. I can't see your pics but Crystal Green Metallic is one of my favorites.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
The head gasket on the car went bad, so I'm pretty much doing a top end rebuild. Luckily, I caught it when the car was in the garage, before I went out for a drive.
The engine bay does need a bit of tidyin' up. After I took off the intake manifold, I got out the toothbrush and brake clean, to make it look new again.
As for the red 944, it has been sold. I still miss it.
I'm planning having the car done in 2 weeks. I just wish is wasn't so cold, my industrial space heater is in need of more fuel.
