How long does it take to change the trans mount?
I have some time this week to change the trans mount on my 951 since my car will be down for a few days until I get new injectors.
How long does it take to drop the transaxle. How many bolts are there and which bolts should I remove. Some people say the ones from the mount to cross member. Some say just remove crossmember.
which one is the fastest way to do when the car is on jackstands.

It's been a while, but I did this to install a solid trans mount. From what I remember, you need to:
If you have all the right tools, it might take an hour or so. Looks like Clark's has some of the torque values (http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/trans-03.htm).
- Put car on jackstands
- Remove rear wheels
- Remove the nut that attaches the fuel filter to the x-member and let it hang free
- Place jack under the trans (I used a HF ATV jack)
- Remove the two bolts that hold the x-member to the body.
- Lower trans
- Remove 2 bolts (I think) that connect the mount to the trans
- Pull x-member free from the car and install new mount
- Re-install

You do not need to remove the tranny to install the mount. In fact, you can get the entire crossmember out the passenger side of the vehicle (wheel removed) with a little wiggling. Just support the tranny with a jack, disconnect the mount, lower the transaxle down as far as the torsion tube will allow. Remove the 17mm bolts holding the metal crossmember in, and start working it out the passenger side.
