Personally I cannot see any benifits which makes it obvious I'm forgetting somthing...
Assuming it's a real aftermarket 1 piece front end, you can access to everything in the front end by removing one piece quickly and easily.

Glassing together individual body panels that are mounted to the car in a conventional fashion yields no benefit.

I have 1" over glass front fenders, a glass nose and a glass header panel. The car came with the glass nose and header panel, I added the fenders. The poor match of all the glass parts was a factor in deciding to grind them down and glass them together.
