Default Car Won't Start *Help*

Came out in the morning and she cranks but doesn't start. I have spark, I can smell fuel swapped the DME relay. Any ideas?

Has Vitesse maf, fuel controller, Siemens 3145 72 lb injectors, crank and reference sensors are several months old.

I'm thinking it might be the ECU. Anyone close to me have an ECU I can try or buy?

Thanks
John

Thanks Jamie, I might take you up on that offer if I don't get any help here.

Cosmo, I might be able to help you in person as I live in Philadelphia also. Though I don't have a spare DME on me here. Drop me a PM if you want some help.

I would start by narrowing the problem. Do you have spark at the plugs? Do you have fuel at the fuel rail? Do you have a pulse at the injectors?

You can unplug a spark plug connector, insert a spare spark plug in in and ground it on the cam cover. You should see a fat spark when cranking. You can then get a noid light at the local Autozone. These are about $5 and are available for Bosch injectors. Unplug an injector connector and plug this gizmo in and it will glow (you hope), when you crank the engine. You can then check fuel pressure at the cap at the end of the fuel rail.

This is what I would do to. Also you might first take a peak at the cam belt and timing to make sure it did not slip or break. Don't crank the motor if so until fixed.
