Default Rattle in the door panel?

I have a low idle so the car will shake at stop (working on fixing that). There is a loud rattle somewhere in the drivers side door panel? Before I try and pull it apart want to ask if anyone has any ideas. It will do it with the window up or down. Almost 100% sure it's not the window. Any suggestions?

I have the same thing, and found a few causes but its still there a bit when the door is shut. Have to look at it again.

The bottom screws on the window tracks were both lose on my car, the back one can be a bitch to get to (back being closest to the locks basically). There was something else too, I think it may have been a bracket for the lock mechanism was rattling.

Really its not that hard to remove the door panel. Maybe a 20 min job the first time you do it.

I have seen several cases where the spot weld that holds the top of the rear track to the door frame breaks, this allows the track to make a nasty rattle. Easyest repair is to re-weld the joint.

+1 MHT

The frames in these cars are old and they have a tendency to break due to vibrations work harding stressed joints.

Could be something as simple as a piece of change that fell down in the pocket, so before pulling the whole panel off make sure you check that if you haven't already.
