Today Kasturbo and I were doing some tuning runs in his 968 Turbo to dial in his smt6. I had the tune very close to perfect, but we wanted to add some more fuel around 4k rpm. I adjusted the cells, and then was unable to communicate with the unit from the laptop. Runtime error '11' came up and the software shut off without connecting to the smt6. Now, anytime we try to load a tune to the unit or go online, the error occurs and shuts down the software. We were switching b/w smt6 and zeitronix software while tuning, if that makes a difference. The car now doesn't want to run on that tune, so we installed the jumper plug and are going to work on it again tomorrow.

Any help or ideas? TIA

I had a runtime error the one time and I re-installed the software, did the trick for me

It sounds that a download to the unit did not complete as the communication was abnormally disconnected in the process. There are a few steps to take care of this. Email directly if you need support.

The procedure varies between units, so it's not wise to post it here. If you need support, drop me a note.

A runtime error can be caused by invalid data, a reload of a clean map file, fixes it.
