aluminum block + fe/steel sleeves = expansion variations...had that in my GTV6's......messes with the head gaskets

will consider the dry sleeves..but I don't want to lose displacement.

is your block trasshed .
why not just put JE turbo pistons in it .
I can have the block all preped down here if you want . as well as the crank . But i think Pat knows of some good places down there .
I would perhaps be interested in buying some pistons and gaskets at the same time as we might swing a better deal that way .
I also have a over bored block here that I would swap for a standard bore one couple $ that i have a few bucks invested in o ringed deck pegged etc .
send me and email and I'll go into more detail .
are you using 951 rods ? i think i have a spare set .

JE does not have a proven coating for alusil(spoke with them a few weeks ago..they just send them to Swain). my block does not have nikisil coated bores. Needs a plateau hone, too.

Spoke with Darton: 900$ for sleeves, 800$ for block, does not include sleeve bore and hone.

Best bet(not necessarily $) still seems to be HMR block work with Mahle pistons: $3000
