where is the engine knock sensor located?

Default where is the engine knock sensor located?

I found a disconnected plug and it looks like a knock sensor. its not plugged into anything

Just behind and almost under the idle control valve.

ok cool, thanks. I have a sensor that looks just like that except it is on the back of the lower block against the firewall. its not plugged into anything. female plug looks like the o2 sensor.

any ideas?

It's a diagnostic plug the factory/stealership used. It goes to a sensor on the bellhousing.
