Steve, yes I'm with you on the RS badge as we recently purchased a 968 who's owner thought that the RS badge would increase it's value:

But that was before we got our hands on the bargin and this is a little further down the line:

One mans disaster is another mans bargin

You guys are funny. I'm having about my 4th Newkie at the moments. I've been around boostfeens 968 Turbo clone, it's very well done and runs like a scalded dog. I haven't seen it since he had some more paint work done but it was nice even before. Post #5

Newkie rocks Steve but it's all about the Irish Guinness for me tonight (on my 8th I think - well that was when I got back from the pub) - Boost Feen's TRS replica is simply stunning - My hats always been of to him and Raj who set the 968 benchmark currently

Amazing looking car with my favorite wheels ever, but that splitter is not good and it would be ten times better with black interior and sport seats.

6/10 ; 5/10 without the wheels.
Dislike 968 mirrors, the splitter, painted hatch trim, burgundy interior. Why the hell did they make the dash so shiny ? When new it should be mat.
They omitted to put back the Porsche sticker at the rear after they were finished with repainting it.
They made the mistake of sticking the rear bumper as close as possible to the body ; Porsche left some space on purpose so that when you get rear ended the bumper doesn't damage the bodywork.

But then these are details and it still looks in a pretty good overall shape ; considering the mods I think it is decently priced.

Well who am I to comment. I have 968 mirrors AND the genuine RS badge ( done tongue in cheek, mind). I'm not sure at what hp level you're allowed to have the RS badge? heheh
The paintwork and photo set are compelling, but then they go and show the inside. YECH!!! I agree about the engine bay and the gal exhaust, even though that's a simple fix.
Only reinforces the thought that I can't ever afford to sell mine. lol.

I love the 968 mirrors. I can't wait to order a set myself. I can overlook the RS badge. Not a huge deal with me.
The wheels with tires are worth ATLEAST 4.5k. That car is a bargain price considering the exterior condition. All it needs a donor interior and a hardcore engine bay detailing. I am surprised no one has jumped on this yet. But hey... i' m a sucker for a really clean exterior.

All it needs for the exterior is AIR splitter, 968 door handles, euro foglights, GT racing rear bumper, "turbo" fender decal, and a Porsche bumper decal. (lol that list is pretty long now)

There is alot more than 12k in that car I promise you(ofcourse I guess anyone who really mods their 951 already knows that)
What else do you need?

Where to begin...

A M.I.D. 2.7 or 3.0 for starters.....and a E.M.S.

I was under the impression that from 1988 onwards 951's had a split rear seat...Can anyone confirm?

Maybe it's the lighting, but the front nose paint does not seem to match well with the hood?? White is such a hard color to match well if the front was touched up to get rid of rock chips.....

Yank the interior out put in a roll cage and some decent seats, lose the AC and your good to go.
