Holy cow guys. Sweet weekend. Now, it will most certainly rain. Always when things come together. - I'm a, "glass is half full" kind of guy. Can't blame me though, because the year of Hell I went through with this car.

ok.. Is everyone Staying at the hotel? Are you guys leaving the cars at the track or taking them back with you?

Bruce I tow up there and drive home each day. Many folks stay but the food is weak in College Station and trolling for college chicks is just a recipe for disaster...

They have security at the track, if you take a motor home and go out with other people, you (in the past) must be back by 10 or 11 - they lock the big gate and no in or out; leave the car if it's on a trailer, it will be safe. The little grill at the track puts on a wicked breakfast burrito.

YIKES!
They put me in the blue run group. I'm going to get frustrated very fast with the slower cars. - As long as my car stays running that is. Who do I talk to to get into the - at least - yellow! ughhh. (Been frustrated by slower cars in the white / Red group in the past)

I'm so ready to put my money where my mouth is. - Well, after getting a feel for the car in the first session that is. - Maybe I'll shut up for Saturday, Prove myself right or wrong. Then I'll ask to move up on Sunday or something. if you think I'm hardcore on the engine stuff. I'm twice as focused when Driving.

Sounds like this could be a fun run for those in Houston not hauling cars.

It will even be lots of fun for us that drive back and forth. Get to sleep in a decent bed and not have to but up with a bunch of Aggies

Thanks. 130mph was into a 20mph headwind as well. I ran it at the Texas Mile in March and was 25 mph faster than a C6Z06 and 16 mph faster than the new SRT Viper
