The G50 and 930 transaxles are different. G50 is 5spd and 930 is 4spd. The 930 box is stronger though and I was just throwing some ideas out there. If I end up putting the v-8 in my car, Im really probably going to go with the 930 box.

But yes, the gearing is probably too wide but I was on a site that listed different gearing for that particular trans.
