Just wondering, I bought mine 10 days before my 17th bday! but then again I have been racing for 5yrs...I would not recommend these cars to most of my friends though, You can get in a lot of trouble real fast!!

I got my first and second 944 around 15 and sold the second one several months later when I was 16 to buy a turbo.

Bought my 951 when I was 17....drove it daily in high school unless it was snowing....drive it as a 2nd-3rd car now...it was paid for by me, it took 2 summer jobs for 2 yrs

There's a bit of a difference between buying one now when your young compared to buying one early in your life when the 951 when was still pretty new.

I bought my first 944 turbo in the early '90s when I was 29. It was an '89 S with 12,000 miles for $32,000.
