Default Lindsey Racing reference sensor harness question

In the picture, it only shows 2 connectors. Don't I need 4 connectors to replace both wires or do they combine into one cable or is it only one side that needs to be replaced?
thanks

thats the engine harness side. The other connector is part of the sensor itself. If its no good just buy a new sensor.then its new from the DME to the sensor. It is a good deal and an easy install..

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about. There are only two sensors at the back of the block that are of importance in your case: The Speed and Reference sensors.

I have the LR harness and it goes from the DME/KLR and runs to the little plate where it plugs into the Spd and Ref sensors, respectively.

You only need one plug for each.

The wires normally go bad right behind the connector in the boot. They might be touching -grounding- on the inside. I suggest getting the new ones. it's the easier fix. if that doesn't change anything. get the new sensors. If that doesn't fix anything. move on to the 30 other things it could be. Then eventually buy a million dollar stand alone system and pay another million for someone to tune it. Wait. that was just my set up.

Hopefully the wires will fix your problem, but that brings us back to why you think your wires are bad?

Nope. Fell out of my chair anyway.
Yes, your suspicions are right. You need the connectors that attach to the sensors. Not the ones on the wiring harness side. There are male connectors that you can buy that will help your problem. But from the picture, I'm sure the wires that are part of your sensors are toast anyway though, and I would suggest just getting the new ones. On the lighter side, the connectors on the wiring harness side look fairly good, But I would peel back the boots to see whats underneath them to be sure.

Dillon,
You need the LR harness from the DME/KLR to the bracket mount.

Then you need the new sensors (w/ end connector as shown) to plug into that.

That gives you wiring from point A(comps) to point B (bracket assembly where they plug into each other) to point C (sensor termination/installation point (flywheel).

so I should get the reference wire from lindsey racing and the other wire for paragon to correct it
that will give me A-B and B-C so I will have A-C
thanks

Yes, as Ausgeflippt951 stated, LR gets you from inside to the bracket, and new sensors get you from the bracket to the FW.

Have you been on the bong already?

Dillon....we have been over this....

You need to replace your sensor wiring COMPLETELY. You need the LR harness and 2 new sensors to achieve this.
