Wait, our conference PLAYED this weekend? Coulda fooled me!
Like Michelle, I'm a Florida State fan. We won our game...because we didn't play, but it came down to a last minute field goal that the other team missed.
It's going to be a VERY long year! "cringe".
So, refresh my memory.
What are the differences in the physical dynamics of the various materials.
Which is most flexible? Which is most brittle? What are they various comparisons between the possible materials?
I think that would help a lot of folks to understand, and make a good decision on what to order, and will also help you get a bearing on what MOST people want. I would think that you'll want to go down that road, in terms of production.
As far as interest, you may need to look into becoming a Rennlist, small business sponsor.
If you can produce a good product, it will make Field of Dreams look like the number of folks that would fit in a phone booth.
Build it! They will freaking over run you!

I was also thinking that something as convenient as a dzus fastener, type mounting hardware would basically make the A.I.R. splitter obsolete.
Racers, and home mechs, alike, would really benefit from easy on easy off capability.

very interested, the one I bought a year ago in a "group buy" lasted about eight months before cracking due to its lower profile...very interested

I would be interested, but my main prerequisite is ease of mounting. I'm too low to wear one of these permanently, but want to have one when I track my car. Therefore if there is a way of having it easily mounted (D-Z fasteners?) I'd definitely be in.

When we talked about this, I expressed my desire to have an A.I.R. style splitter that would be just stiff enough to be effective for it's purpose, yet mainatain a good enough level of flexibility that it would deform and reform, rather than shatter.
I hit a spot, in a parking lot, that looked really benign, and it not only cracked the AIR splitter, but it ripped the bolts out of the nose panel, forcing me to repair both the splitter AND the attachment area under the nose piece.
It actually ripped off and went under the car. I was going about 5 mph at the time.
so we really discussed a level of meaningful flexibility, as well as the idea of using shear pins. I'm thinking a combo of both would be most optimum.

to get it here and have it installed on your car in less then an hoar is a big feature perhaps one the retains the factory under bumber bit something that could be removed or refitted . also somthing that is black or dark grey and looks the almost the same after i have run over it..
I wonder if the aussies will get together for once and buy them in one shipment .

First of all, count me in.
Flexible materials would be a plus but what I'd really like to see is an A.I.R shaped splitter that's not as thick. I realize there are limits before it just becomes a board but after having scraped my A.I.R. countless times on seemingly minor dips in the road, I'd be all over something that had a little more clearance.

The clearance thig is definitely a good idea. Some sort of compromise between the GT-racing version and the AIR version, but with the AIR shape.

I'd be interested as well, especially at those prices. Like others have mentioned I have always liked the AIR style with flexibility, paintability, and straight forward mounting being the key aspects.

I won't describe this well but I've thought about trying to modify my A.I.R. so that the bottom flat part (think batwing) is flush with the bottom of the bumper cover and the actual splitter part is in front of the bumper cover.
