Hey there.
A friend of mine has some 997 'Lobster claw' wheels and at first I thought they would be great on my 928, but they won't work.
Anyway, got to thinking about maybe on the 951S...
Has anyone tried them?
Thanks!

First off they are 19" which in my opinion is too big for the 951 but, also the offsets are not compatible either. I believe they have a low offset so they push the wheel out too far and there is no way to compensate.

I don't think they will work, BUT NICE slant nose! Great color!

You could probably make them work on an '86 with the right spacers... But I don't think you'll have any luck on the turbo S. I know 996 narrow body wheels work well, though. Regular 997 narrow body wheels probably will, too.

from the rennlist members gallery. i love lobster claws just not on a 44 b/c they look way too large w/the shorter and more narrow tires. with more tire on this car they'd look really nice. and it looks like there's plenty of room for more rubber.

No offense, but the lobster-claw wheel, is, in my opinion, the fugliest wheel Porsche ever put out on a production car.
