OK then, just to put something out there, just a couple of ideas:
Meet at the parking lot of Alice's at the intersection of 35 and 84. Then we can take 84 west, stage road south, pescadero rd east, then either take 84 back east (to the starting point or beyond to redwood city for lunch), or we can take Alpine rd to 35 (or beyond 35).
Or: Start at the parking lot at the intersection of Alpine rd and 35, take Alpine, Pescadero, Stage, 1, and eat somewhere on 1 sort of early. If we get there too early for lunch we can take 84 to redwood city for lunch.
Please add/change! I think 10am is good. I usually like to start these things early but so do the bicyclists, most of them are gone by 11ish, in my experience.

The main reason I started this thread was for a Sun. AM drive because I can't do Sat. AMs until December. Hopefully, more people will join us for this Sun AM. I geuss I'll meet you at some other time/event. Sorry.

Maybe we could make it a monthly or month-and-a-halfly GTG/Drive if we could get more people involved in this area. There are just so many great roads around here!

Tom, sorry you couldn't make it. My friend with the rx-7 was also a no-show. It was spectacular though! I was expecting a lot more bicycle traffic, being a sunday morning, but it wasn't bad.
I would love to get some kind of regular local gathering going. And if the weather sucks it would still be fun to see the people and talk shop. There's so much in this area I haven't even explored yet...

Yes, that would be great. I'd vote for plenty of parking lot time to compare notes, maybe a mini swap meet, etc. At any rate, sorry I missed it. Please keep me on the list!

I got the pics. They are great! My favorite is the one in the Twisties under the trees. I'll post it if I can figure out how to do so. You were right though, next time I'll lead, a little bit.
