It all comes down to what you want to do with your car. This is the advice that all of us would give you. Figure out really what you want to do with the car. If you are going to race it at all on the track, whether DE or door to door stuff, you will find that you want to upgrade things on a regular basis...until you run out of money or class restrictions. What I'd suggest is think very carefully about what you want from the car and then set about some plans. If you just want a quick road car, then don't get sucked into putting things on just because they are the latest and supposedly greatest. While the GTbb turbo is a very good product, there can be issues with installing it. There are lots of good bolt on components that will be much easier and possibly cheaper in the long run that eg don't have bb cartridges yet work very well. I won't name brands or vendors but you only have to sneeze and the proponents of these producers will come out to tell you how good they are. So listen and ask and plan. The biggest mistake most of us make in the beginning is throwing on mods that we wind up selling off soon after at a loss because that was the wrong choice. Oh, and don't fall in love with the idea of only upgrading your motor. The brakes and suspension should come first. Plus make sure all the other stock components like belts and pumps are perfect before doing anything. This will save you potentially thousands of dollars in the future.
Good luck.

well i first i was goin with a super 65 ( not the over 500hp run) then due too tunin problems and wasn't what i was lookin for. I ended up with a gt35r bb turbo is the current one of choice and like 333pg333 said u can spend lots of money doin the the wrong was first. I was goin for "response" EVERYTHING i did was for that ....but i got used to it so i upgraded. I could go on for days the things i got done to my 951 everyone i know and my friends say i gone overboard but i just say i got the tim allen desease over 37000 dollars in my car (motor)!!!

But my advice to you is to plan it out do u was a quick car, a fast car, a street /track car or just one with loooooads of hp(dyno qween) ...the best to be with a 951 is around 400hp on the street you will be a force to recon with after that it get VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!

INURGIRL951/333PG333: Thats good advise. Because right now I'm just buying random things for my car that different vendors are telling me I need. My goals are lower to mid 400RWHP. And actually right now I'm contemplating on what I should do with my motor. Its sitting out the car on a engine stand. I was thinking of building the bottom end, or just replacing all the bearings. Im definately going to change the Waterpump, belts, gaskets, and all seals.

Moddedeverything951: Actually thats my brother holding my old Bike Kaw zx10r he dropped it going 80mph. Lucky to be alive

Inurgl, I'd be interested in some of the details of your GT35 conversion. Is it an 82 version? What EMS do you have? What have you upgraded your brakes/suspension to? If you're going to try 33psi, I would suggest looking into E85 if you haven't already.
spoolin, yes definitely freshen up your motor while it's out. You could think of changing out some things like Rods, modifying your crank, oil squirters, maybe crank scraper. Do something about your stock pan. While there's not much on the market, you could further baffle it.

The turbo is a 84 trim 1.06 a/r. Right now im currently runin a Mafterburner system but have thoughts of puttin the innovate ST12 system on there if im not happy with the results i get now. Its just so simple to tune the mafterburner. The brakes are pretty much stock other then cermic pads dont see a problem there yet. For suspension its stock too but i got the kw v3 settin on the shop bench (since febuary now). I know where you are gettin at cause i do scrape my 4" exhaust on pulls over 14 psi i got a dual stage boost set up that runs 14lbs first stage and 19 second stage ( i only do 33 lbs on dynos and sum racin on courses). Even tho i gone threw the motor and built it to withstand it i not goin to granade my engine runnin it all the time there.

You should get in touch with Sid (blown 944). You and he might have some good notes to compare.
That's a pretty decent sized turbo. Where are you seeing 1 bar at different psi levels? Have you changed any other aspects to increase your VE? What head/cam setup are you using?
Good to see you're pushing some limits!
