Tore down the transmission. It's shot from the tq. The main bearing was actually grinding against the case. I'm considering a 968 six speed box for it's better strength.

Anyone have one for sale?

George

Congrats George - great article on a great car.

Out of curiosity, what did you do to get your car featured in European Car? I have a mercedes that is just being finished (serious modifications) & I'd love to make sure that the guys at Motorwerks who have gone above & beyond expectations receive the credit they deserve through good publicity. Dfastest?

Thanks

SFR has had many cars in magazines. They have good relationships with them because of some great cars. I did nothing but supply the money and car. When the car is actuall done, I hope they are interested in a follow up story.

An interesting note on the photshoot for the cars. There were four cars shots at once for four magazines.A widebody 750WHP M3 turbo(Eurotuner),Georges 944t(European Car),my 350z 480WHP twin turbo(Turbo) and a 620WHP Nissan Skyline single turbo(Dsport). When we were in the process of drivng the cars to various locations for photos,my partner Shanes brand new Audi S4 was hit by a rock that fell off of a hill!!!!!!!!! It was a 2 foot diameter rock and it came rolling down a hill and slammed into the front end of his car. It nearly killed the passenger and did some serious damage to the front-end.Pretty freaky incident. Luckily is missed all the other cars becasue that would not have been good.I can just imagine calling George. Here is how the conversation would have went.

Hey George, how are you doing.

Ok,how is the car doing,is it done yet?

Not exactly.

What do you mean not exactly,Tim?

Well your car was smashed by a big a*s rock.

What the hell are you talking about?

Well a big old 2 foot,400lb rock came flying down a hill and crushed your car. What do you want me to do with the pieces?

LOL.

Simply awesome. Thanks for the old parts George. Now I see why you didn't need them any longer. What a ride
