That, and the fact that they have VERY little in common with the street cars that they represent.

Here's a few pics of mum and dads BF GT anyways [/IMG]
Here in Mexifornia we have some ugly ***** just like that but they are called Grand Turds Oreally, they are made by GMC(general mexican car) 400hp, 3700lbs, I used to leave them a few car lenghts behind with my puny 4cyl 951.

I think he almost won last week except for something happening on the last lap.
How's your car Hally btw?

Actually the Pontiac GTO (current version) is an Aussie design (Holden Monaro) that actually looks pretty good before it leaves our shores and the Yanks beat their ever present uglystick all over it. We get it with a 7 liter motor now too which is good to play with in our puny 4 cylinder cars as well.

Just found another pretty good in car video showing some decent racing at Bathurst.

There is one time each year that we can go on this track which is a 2-5 day (depending on package) speed event. Basically pay to play. No out and out door handle racing, but you can bring your car and do your best and it's supervised by some of the Pros. I hope to attend, all things going to plan.

Yeah I've seen that one. It's like some of the other guys still have their handbrakes on. Weird, but good stuff all the same.

Our Aussie V8's have 5 litre engines limited to 7500rpm for longevity and about 650-700BHP. Also have "bent" solid rear axles, adjustable watts linkage for varying the roll centre height and despite the narrow wheels CAN handle.

There's only one faster sedan class here which are a type of mongrel sports sedans. They have their engines where the gearbox normally sits, complicated chassis structures and composite lift off body shells that have a slight resemblance to everyday sedans. Pretty much free as long as the window frames or something like that match the original cars.
