We have an 1988 944 Turbo with the "S" sway bars... the springs and shocks are original equipment!
What is a good spring shock upgrade for this car such that it can be driven on the street and also on the track at competitive events without breaking the bank...
.. must be street driveable... stiff but not too stiff... low but now low enough to clip stuff...

This is a cheaper and popular option, but there are plenty of ways to go so take your time with the research.
For the front http://www.paragon-products.com/prod...conversion.htm
For the rears either go with a stiffer torsion bar or go to rear helper coilovers (thats what I did) and de-tune your existing torsion bars.
