Default 285/30ZR18 XL BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2

Looking at these tires on tirerack, 285/30ZR18 XL BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2
for the rear on my 18x10 twists. Anyone try these and will they fit without any rolling? I currently have 275/35ZR18 Kumho MX tires and they fit fine but wanted to go to 285 if I can just for the hell of it haha.. got Discount to quote me $592 out the door for these two tires which is a helluva deal I think.

so.. 285/30 okay?

comparing the specs on what I have now and the new tires show the section width is 11.5" versus 11.1" on the old tires. I don't want the Kumho's anymore because they just don't last long at all.. the treadwear between the two is 220 for the Kumho and 300 for the KDW 2, although just noticed the bigger KDW2 is 4lbs heavier! hmm...

work me a deal on a set for my front.

235/40/18

I think they will fit late offset without fender rolling. Gabe is fitting 295/30?/18's on my car. Its a 18x10 inch wheel.

285 will go without rubbing on stock fenders, if correct ET is used.

All I did was lookup the tirerack price with shipping, then called discount and straight up told him that I was looking for these specific tires and wondered if he could beat the price for me. Make sure you ask for the store manager on the phone though. Anyway, tirerack was $270 per tire on these for a total of $575 shipped to my door at this size and he said they listed for more (can't remember how much more) but that he strived to beat all prices including off the internet and he'd do it for $260 / tire + mount / balance of $15 per tire plus $2 disposal for old tires... plus tax... Then of course I mentioned that I don't have to pay tax from tirerack so that was still the better deal over his, and I asked for an out the door price and he said $592.xx out the door. Sold.

235/40/18 is $176 on the rack so you'd be looking around $380-385 shipped. I'd expect you could work a deal for $400 out the door if you called Discount...

Oh and one more question. I asked the guy if he had the torque specs for the lugs and he looked it up and said 92 lbs, is that correct?
(nevermind, i remembered how to search haha)

Porsche have used alu wheel nuts since 1965. The only time they break is
1. They were overtightened in the first place.
2. The socket was too short and did not engage the whole length of the hex.
3. An impact gun was used to try and undo them.

Since working on Porsches, I've seen maybe 10 broken or damaged nuts.

Make sure you use a slight amount of anti-seize on the stud threads and the cone of the nut, tighten to 130NM (94 lbft)

I have those exact BFG's on my car, but it is a 951S with rolled fenders. No problems at all. I have done at least 3 track days on those tires and never had a problem with them "chunking". I'm also using 245/35/18 fronts.

How do you like the P880PRS deck? I am considering that one for my car...

285/30/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050a user here. This is on a '91 S2 WITH rolled fenders. I tryed them on my '87 951 WITHOUT rolled fenders. They get pretty close to the lips, and under hard boost (1st/2nd gear), they may rub so I took them off. Just driving around the neighborhood off boost, I had no rubs. They never rubbed on my '91 S2 (well, they rubbed on the inside on very hard corners).

You tend to be cautious when you have two tires at back costing $320+ a piece. lol

Also, I'm running 18x10 993TT Hollows out back.
