In gear, the LSD transmission will make the wheels spin in opposite directions. Out of gear, both wheels spin in the same direction. The more worn out the LSD, the easier it is to spin the wheels when the car is in gear.

I still don't think I have an LSD tranny. I jacked car up
when in gear, I turn one wheel, the other turns the other way
when in neutral, I turn one wheel, the other doesn't move
