That depends on this hurricane, off the coast of Texas. That WAS my route. I'd prefer not to go I 40, as there is even more desert on that route. However, If either the weather, or the evacuation traffic look to be problems, it will be 40 to 20, into Dallas> Shreveport> 75 to I 10 and home. We shall see what happens.

so, how about this joint, in Burbank? It's called the Blue Room. It's on Alameda.
What's a decent, and safe, central location?
I'll be staying in Glendale.
There is a place called Dale's steak house, which looks popular. I'll look for other stuff.

Even if it breaks down, and cost 700 bucks to fix, I'll still be at even cost with an enclosed hauler...BUT the entire engine has been redone 5K ago, as well as the clutch.

I don't think so -- he's leaving at 3 or 4 tomorrow morning and wanted some rest.
Well the deal has been done -- I'll miss the 951, it was my dream car since I was little. Elliott seems like a great guy and I know he'll treat her well. He's truly a class act and I wish him the best. Good luck to ya, man!

Sorry guys! Like Bjorn said, I left at 4 am, Saturday morning.
I ordered enough R12 and a hose coup-ler with a guage. It didn't fit. So, after lieing on the hotel parking lot, trying to get the AC to work, I gave up. So I pulled off the Top and drove through Topanga Canyon to a little beach bar/restaurant called Duke's.
More later. I just got home.
