Default Roads less traveled in Ca.

Has anybody driven Mosquito Ridge Rd here in the Sacramento area? Its seems to be a big 2 wheel spot, is supposed to have great pavement and something like 600 turns in 36 miles. Is it worth the trouble to get to.

I've driven it many time. It's better uphill and preferably real early morning or in the evening...the sun in your is a killer passing in and out the trees in and out. Connect up with Shake Ridge Road at the top and come back down. Either road is better uphill though. Wentworth Springs/Ice House Road to Loon Lake, east on 50 to Silver Creek road, right on Mormon Emigrant Rd to Pollock Pines (very good road) is my favorite
