also, if we're concerned about filling out a bodykit not dissimilar to the 968rs, what size wheels / tyres did they use and if they weren't as wide as we're talking about here, did they use spacers?

tire pressure and wheel load determine the survace area total.
and tire width and diameter determine the shape of the patch.
wide tire wide patch with decreased length.
when the time comes i will be looking for tires first
perhaps i pick up some ex super car or carrera cup slicks .

I run 335/30/18S rear and 275/40/18s front on 13 and 10 inch wheels respectively on the 951 race car with 350-360 RWHP. It hangs on real well and , having tried 315s on the rear I can say that you CAN feel a difference and the 335s get the job done. My .02 worth. Whatever you go with...go hard!

Lanny do you notice more understeer with such a big front to rear difference? 275 - 335 is pretty big.
