What clutch is best for ~300hp 300 lb torque?
I was looking at the Stage 1 Lindsay spec racing clutch and Flywheel.. $736 for the clutch $439 for the lightened flywheel. Sach clutch seem to go for about $700 USD but i'm afraid that clutch won't handle the added horsepower. Centerforce makes a clutch alone for $1100 (very pricey) any recommendations? best place to buy? I'm in canada, the only brand offered here is Sach's and it goes for $936 CDN at autopartsonlinecanada.com

I had this setup on another 89S with 330whp and it lasted about 80K between me and the new owner. Just make sure that the shop doing the work does it right. Replace all wear items and I would replace your slave cylinder at the same time. Make sure that your forks aren't worn. Some folks break in clutches, I just drive as I would otherwise.
Trust me, you don't want hydrolic fluid all over your passenger footwell. If the clutch is worn under typical abuse, replace all clutch components at the same time. Retorque your hex nuts on the wheel side just to be sure they are up to spec. I would also replace the trans fluid while it's out. If you have a LSD make sure that they use LSD trans fluid.

Wow! thanks, i see that is WAY cheaper and effective .. Paragon Products has the 930 disc. With the light flywheel, proper bolts, bearings, seals, sleeve and pressure plate the total comes to $1088 plus shipping! I've read that depending on how good the mechanic is he labour could be 8 to 15 hrs. The shop that did my coolant flush charges $90 per hour and that's where it's been towed to. I'm hoping this wont' cost more than $2500
