During a recent automotive event there was a (for once) legal demonstration street race in the town were I live, Eindhoven. The event was witnessed by over 75.000 spectators.

Our racing team, Paul Geeris Racing participated with two well prepared Porsche racers: a 996 RSR and my car, a widebody 944 Turbo.

My car was driven by my mechanic, which gave me the opportunity to shoot some short movies. The result is published on youtube

And though it was meant to be a safe demonstration, driving fast can still be dangerous, as the unlucky driver of a Porsche 914 found out. He skidded over an oil track, left behind by a Jaguar E-type (figures) and was launched.
