Question Innovative LM1 set up/calibration?

Is it necessary to wire in the LED and go through the whole calibration like instructed???

And do re calibrations in the future????

Only if you want accurate A/F readings.

Calibrations are key reliable reading as DrZ1 said. The accuracy of the Innovative setups are what make them desirable, which can be partially attributed to the ability to re-calibrate the sensor as it wears. In short this a NECESSARY step.

The LM-1. doesn't need the light. The LC-1 does so you know what part of the calibration its going through.
I just twisted a 12v LED to the necessary wire and touched it to any old ground while it calibrated. when it tas done.. I quickly un-twisted the LED, taped off the wire and zip tied it back. Shouldn't need it again for months.

On my LC-1 I hooked it up.. might as well take advantage of all functions. If you have that metal gauge holder under the radio its easy to drill a tiny hole and mount it there
