Default 944 turbo radiators fans question

how long are the radiator fans supposed to stay on?
I drove my new 951 7 hours today and once I got home, the radiator fans stayed on like normal, but now there still on after an hour
Is this a problem?
Also, one of the fans is not on. What could do this?
I will take pics. of it tomorrow or monday
thanks

One hour after shutting off the engine is too long. Sounds like a faulty thermoswitch in the radiator, to me.

Try reseating the fan relay. Not sure why this works, but it did for me. Only the low speed fan runs after the car is turned off.

one of the fan isn't working, so I checked the fuse and its blown
I put a new on in and it blows
theres a sound from the radiator fan relay before it blows
could this be at fault

Might want to check the current draw on the fan motor. You could be hearing the contacts cooking in the relay. Real easy to unplug the fan and connect a 12VDC source to the connector. Make sure it has a fuse inline. The fan relay is a bit expensive.

There is an excellent write up on fan fault diagnosis on Clark's Garage.
