Some things are better left to the O.T. section.

FWIW - I think my "bump" is substance enough.
You can't seriously think it was a valid question. The thread is stickied to the top of the page. It didn't need a bump.

Guys, no harm done! Let's keep this thread focused on the technical aspects of the new software.

TIA

Aloha -- so tell us about the user defined 0-5v limit input.

Does that feature limit the signal itself (e.g., never let the temp input to the DME exceed Xvdc), or can it be used to trigger other changes to the fueling and/or timing (e.g. add gas/pull timing if the input exceeds its limit)?

Aren't you supposed to be out in the sun and the surf? Why are you on the computer? Oh, rubbing it in!

The user defined 0-5Vdc can be captured by the PiggyBack. You can set a "trigger" anywhere in the voltage range. The trigger is captured by the DME which will enable a shut-down.

The 0-5Vdc signal can be used to alter fuel in the PiggyBack.

There are a few applications I'm working on that can use this feature. The V-FLEX, in a way, is the infrastructure to support external systems.

V-Flex and Bo-Flex are just too similar to be coincidence. Like I said, some may disagree.

I was actually getting at the question - what is the significance of the name?

The V-FLEX will work without the PiggyBack, however the "Limits" capability will not be available unless you have a PiggyBack.
Yes shipping would take a little bit longer overseas
I`ll think I wait until later for this as I need the car running awhile , then maybe I could upgrade the Wasted spark aswell ?( someone told me there was a update for this too last year )

Overseas shipping on average (also depending on location) is taking 3-5 days each way.
The WS has not changed in a while, nothing else can be made any different, we had a software update a while back. We added support to the 944S, 944S2, 944NA and 911. The only issue is not being able to keep the WS in stock. The WS has been on backorder for some time, I have a waiting list (I can't even get one for my new to me 951).

When you are ready to upgrade let me know, I'll be here, just drop me a note.

At the moment I'm waiting on the MAP sensors to arrive, then I'll be able to upgrade existing chip/boards. Hopefully, things get moving next week.

You are holding out on me!! Add me to the list. I am transplanting my 2.5 into the S2 so I can have some fun while I build the 3L turbo engine.

I should be receiving the MAP sensors this week. Once in hand, I will announce it then whoever wants to upgrade can send in his/her chip/board.
