Bought a sensible daily driver a year ago, 30+ MPG and ran well (my 92). Now a year later and $8K poorer its turboed and had a koni suspension stand alone megasquirt and torsen rear. Its a great car and I love driving it, but sadly its no longer a daily driver...bought another car for that. The white one was a parts car I picked up for free.

I was just up in VA Beach not two weeks ago to move my girlfriend down here. It's too bad I hadn't been on RL in a while at that point, or I would have told you to come grab a beer with us. How long have you been autocrossing the Miata? I ran a few events while I was up there in the past few years with SCCA, Beachcombers, and another group whose name escapes me right now (I hate concussions). I wonder if I've seen you around the area - we had a bunch of MX5s out there, though I don't remember any turboed. I bet that little guy scoots around the cones!

The "other" club your talking about was prob mine. Tidewater sports car club. they do the good events here on the Amphib Navy base on the LCAC pad. Its like a 1/4mile by 1/4 mike of nothing but nice flat cement, its awesome.

The miata with the turbo is different. The boost come son really fast and is some what uncontrollable with 205's.

I am interested in the air box if you still have it... Looking for one with no busted bolt holes or missing strap, is this one in pretty good shape? How much do you want for it (shipped to 55350)? Thanks!

+1 for Icantdo55 ! I got a windshield wiper motor from him, fast and cheap!

Looks like he is helping a lot of others with needed parts also.

Although I am farily new to the web forum, I go back 10+years on the email list.
