Default Loctite 518 on valve seals?

Can anyone confirm that Loctite 518 is the correct thing to use when installing valve seals? I didn't see anything about using any chemical in the factory manual, but I've heard from a few sources that there needs to be an adhesive of some sort here. Any other suggestions?

Thats what I used last time, I had them installed dry and several poped out and were crushed in the springs. Had to take the motor apart to get them all the little metal ***** out of the engine. I also found out there are N/A and Turbo valve seals and they were mixed together at the supplier.

thanks for the tip guys most other valve stem seals are a tight push on and stay put . realy odd that there is a turbo and and N.A. type I would expect it more likely to see a difference inlet /exhaust as the inlet one could be made from a non heat proof material and an exhuast valve would use more oil .
stem seals are a bit catch 22 if they seal you use will were out guides if there to leaky you burn oil
