Does it cut-out if you only give it part throttle or is it at full throttle?

Cuts out just at the start of 1st gear. Once I get going, the car runs great.
I feel better now that I know the reason behind the smoke..
---I am going to pull a spark plug and see if oil is collecting in my spark plug hole.
also.. could my hesitation problem be the cause of a bad turbo seal letting in oil ?
One more note: any estimated mileage on a bad cam tower gasket? haha, the inevitable question.

I have the same oil smoke coming from the under the hood on the passenger side for about 5 minutes only when I start it up after it's been sitting for a few days or more. I had the cam cover gasket changed a year ago, and that fixed the deluge of oil that was pouring out onto the exhaust headers, and it reduced the smoking but didn't completely eliminate it. I believe the smoke I'm seeing now is caused by a turbo oil seal, because when I look at the turbo from underneath the car, it is soaked in oil. Not sure why the smoke mostly comes out of the passenger side, but maybe that's just the path of least resistance?

I doubt that turbo blowby would cause a cutout in first gear alone. Injesting oil isn't the best thing but if it were the cause, I would think it'd do it more than just in 1st gear.

the perfect car has another issue. But I am sure the documentation with the car says it's perfect so it isn't really a problem...........
