Default Power Perfect ground wiring?

Hey guys...i'm wiring in Lindsey's Power Perfect Fuel Controller and according to their directions the ground should be tied in with the DME #6 pin...the P-manual shows pin #6 as a direct connection to the air flow sensor pin #4 and doesn't indicate a connection with any ground that i can see. Anybody have experience with the Power Perfect unit and can let me know if this is correct? Thanks as always for your help!!

Up to 1990 Turbo, DME pin 6 connects internally to pin 17, which in turn will connect to ground once the DME plug is fitted.
