Burgundy leather dye or paint experiences
The edges of my burgundy sports seats are slightly worn and I would like to recolor them. Does anyone have experience with leather dye or paint? Which brands?

I just redyed the seats in my 951. It's pretty easy to do and my seats look like a brand new factory seat again. Here's what I used........

Thanks for your reply. Were your seats black? I am trying to find out which dyes match Burgundy. I found this stuff which is cheap, but I'm not sure it matches. Its also a leather paint not a dye. I'm not sure what the difference is. http://www.shoehardware.com/dye_a_lp...FQInlgod2XHP_w
The seats are in pretty good shape and the wear is on/near the piping on the bolsters.

Mine were black however the Surflex can be custom matched. If you call them (carcareonline) he may even know the color code of your seat. He's done the p-cars for years. You don't want to use a leather paint for long-term results.
