Default just got my car back from the shop!

this is the work that I asked them to do. the PO blew an engine and took it upon himself to toss in a new one and dump the car. I really think the car would have burned up had I not taken this car to a very careful shop. they showed me so many problems that i did not know about.

this is the work done thus far.

initial inspection
install front sway bar up links correctly (inverted)
install new rear Welt sway bar to match front
install all new PS hose + reservoir
all new ss brake lines
new super blue fluid
install 968 caster blocks
make after market exhaust fit- wastegate line weld, new flange,
mount balance 4 street tires
new street pads
new cv joint boot
replace timing belt and rollers
restore balance shaft operation
crank shaft seal replacement
locate oil leak - found 2 missing oil pump bolts
replace lower radiator hose
R&R intake manifold - replace gaskets
remove silicone vacuum lines replace w/ oem vac lines
venturi delete replace with new update hose kit
four wheel alignment
replace steering rack bolt
replace parking brake shoes and adjust

this work was done in preparation for the cars first track weekend @ the ABCC. lots of labor but I'm pretty happy with the car. put about 200 miles on it tonight just to make sure everything was ok. downtown chicago traffic, highway, random wisconson roads.

lets hope the car stays strong and can make it through all 3 days !

Awesome! Looks like you have a pretty complete list, and things I have personally fixed on my car *after* it has been to a shop . Road America by chance? What a blast that track is, watch out for the deer, and good luck with that weird carousel!

thanks! I'll be at abcc ( autobahn country club in Joliet Il) this Sat Sun and Mon, then Grat is next and RA is right around the corner.
lots of stuff on that list is no big deal but when i got the car i didn't have time to work on it. I was busy parting out my last car that got a little dinged up at an Alpha event at RA this summer.
