my buddies car runs @3 oil pressure cold at start up and drops to 1 1/2 to 2 bar...so we too out the oprv and check it out...we put it back in ...the oil pressure began to rise to 4 1/2 bar and then dropped ...so i am thinking the valve is bad...anyone have any other ideas and by some chance does anyone have one laying around that they want to sell ...i think new i told him they are around 300 bucks

What year is the car? The 86 have a different style OPRV.
