I've been on the dark side for 6 years. Hell the Black side. Now I'm on the blue side!
there's a pic of my old car in the 951 pic thread.
It's for sale now. 4k obo, all stock, leaking fr and rear seals, LR DP WG, leaking PS and no AC. It would make a great race car or parts car. I'm not sure I would sell it to someone, under any other understanding. A kid with a tight budget ain't getting this car. Only a racer, or a lart. I'm not going to sell it to a kid that is getting in over his head.

So, here's the plan for the new car..
I'm just going to carefully add bolt ons, most of the Vitesse stuff, a new leather cashmere interior, some 968 mirrors and handles, my Escort cups, caster blocks, exhaust, and I'll add the rest of the zeitronix add ons to the existing install. Oh, and my never installed Griffin radiator, Forge ps res, current white breather tank, and I'll take a close look at the fuel lines...oh and replace the cracked 87 dash with my perfect, never installed, 86 dash, with a Momo wheel, that I've already got...and new shift boot, and console....and then send the door panels off to Budd or Champagne, for a full leather wrap, along with the console, and removed '87 dash. Than all of that will get reinstalled...oops...and a fire extinguisher and mount.
Maybe one day an '89 rear spolier...we shall see.
okay, I'm going to do a LOT!
However, little of it will change the reliability. No crazy boost, etc.
I have ALWAYS wanted a nautic blue 951. There are SO FEW. This will be my baby.

umm...all of it!
Stage 2, wasted spark, everything that doesn't require a major engine change.
I'll talk with John about a good solid goal for the car, at no more than 18 psi...EVER. We'll go from there.
This car will not see any glory runs. Everything will be on 93 octane, so no crazy boost.
Oh, and one of those saichi catch cans, at some point.

in anycase you surely wont be disapointed. I plan on running 18psi most of the time but, in those times im not thats what the e85 map is for.
