Default Speaking of fuel dampeners

A while back I read somewhere that the BMW guys were putting larger fuel dampeners on their cars that were running larger injectors than stock and it quieted down the big injectors quite a bit at idle.

Has anyone running big injectors tried adding a larger or second fuel rail dampener to see if this works on the 944 Turbo?

What do you consider a big injector? I didn't notice that my 72# were any louder than stock when I installed them..

Well, 72# are twice the size of stock. The fuel dampener is a pressure accumulator who's job is to keep the pressure in the fuel rail constant as the injectors fire releasing the pressure. It is mainly for lower rpm.
