I have both the headlight and battery cable kit (including the supplemental ground and positive) which i am going to install sometime later this week. I will take detailed pictures of everything, including measurements when i get them out of the box. Id like to handle them as little as possible...the fiberglass sleeve can get quiet itchy
.
The cables are not hard to duplicate, the biggest problem one would face is finding a source for the materials used. Basically the welding wire and the fuses. The welding wire is readily available, i just think buying it in small quantities may be a problem. The lugs used are nothing special really and the battery terminals are regular mil-spec type available at any better auto store. Relays for the headlight harness are readily available Hella parts, H4 connectors are easy to find also. I think the hardest to find part were the fuses (i think 150 amp). Even then, the welding wire is really overkill. I think one would be fine with regular battery cable (maybe one or two gauges thicker than the stock wiring) to replace the 20 year old cables. I think the welding wire is really only necessary if you are amplifying a rock concert from the back of your car. Though i guess anything worth doing, is worth over doing

Techno, if you have an original Iceshark kit it would be a real service to document it all including the install, and include any instructions Dan provided. Member "951Porschiste" documented the install here but Dan said he took more apart than you really need to for a Turbo.
I corresponded with Robby about a year ago, and bought lamps and bulbs from Dan's inventory through him (I have a headlight harness from Rennbay). It sounded like the remaining battery cable parts were somewhat limited. I would still like to do the cables.

I indeed did take a lot apart but additionnal to installing his kit I had also decided to redo all my vacuum lines at the same time and I was also chasing a small coolant leak. Some have expressed the opinion that draining the coolant lines is not necessary to gain access to the alternator. Although that is correct, removing some coolant lines definitely gives you more access.
If someone tackles this project again, I'll be glad to provide more info. Just PM me.
Here is the .pdf file of my install: http://my.execpc.com/D3/79/eelfner/9...rade%20Kit.pdf
