Default Is there any way to tell....

...if a KKK turbo is a K26-6 OR a K26-8 while the turbo is actually installed in the car? I have the #'s off of mine (none positively correspond w/#6 or #8 that I can tell)- it has been rebuilt- wanting to make positively sure it is the same 26-8 that was removed from my Turbo S...

thanks

One way you can tell is if you can get access to the hotside, this is from Clark's Garage.

There is no way that I know of tell from the #s that it is original to your car.

Excellent info, thanks a LOT! I checked Clark's Garage last night & couldn't find that- guess I gave up too soon. I did find an old thread where Danno said it couldn't be ID'd when installed- was hoping there was some sort of way.

thanks again!
