Default Rich running 944T

!986 944 turbo that gets really rich at around 3000. Light throttle might get you through this but it is so rich you can see black smoke out the back, This is what I checked. No vacuum leaks, vacuum line from manifold to ECM is good, vacuum line to pressure regulater ok,throttle switch ohm checks ok, airflow meter is not stuck or binding. What should fuel pressure be under boost? Thanks.

Fuel pressure should remain constant.

do you have stock chips?? I would check the O2 sensor, which I don't know if you can "check" it you just replace it....i guess

That is incorrect. Fuel pressure is dynamic - lowers under vacuum and raises during boost. The only way it will remain constant is if you remove the vacuum/signal line to the FPR.

you should test your Fuel Pressure Regulator as that could cause a very rich state (happened to me) while under boost

:-)
