I cant seem to find the problem the guage, always full. When I remove the connection from the tank the guage drops to zero. I cleaned the contacts but it will still reads full when reconnected. Mine is an 87 (951) any advice???

Sounds like your sending unit took a proverbial crap. the gauge works, the sending unit I believe is just stuck.

Could I have also lost a ground some where?
If so where would I find it. I know in the 87+ the ground is under the dash I just dont know where to look.
I will also check the sending unit.

IIRC full ground is when the tank is full, then using a variable resistor in the sending unit, tha gauge drops as fuel level drops. This is why the gauge drops after you lose the ground/unplug the connector. I am speaking generaly on modern vehicles, Pcars should not be too different.

Same procedure as replacing the clutch. If you can't do it yourself, you can buy a lot of oil for the cost involved with paying someone to do it.

Next to none I'd imagine. If the rubber is completely gone off the seal then maybe i guess, but should be OK.
