Also, the Kumho ASX is a good tire, but they may not be made if the size you need. If they are, you may want to compare the Fuzions with them. The only problem I have heard with certain Kumho's is that some of them grease up when they get really hot. I've got AST's on another car and I can tell you that they are phenomenal over any other tire I've used. They aren't even Ultra High Performance (just High Performance All Season). I wanted ASX's but I'm not disappointed.

Awhile back you thought the Fuzion's sidewalls were to fugly to been seen on any car of yours. Get the Yoko's and stick to your earlier convictions, besides they look pretty cool.
I have had the Fuzions for the past few seasons, and have no complaints for a street tire. I'll need to replace the rears this spring at about 25k .

Everyones impressions will differ. Some have good experiences and some have bad. Reading what I've read, I've been lucky with my AVS's. Tire rack has the new S.Drive and the reviews are awesome. Do they have those in your size?

Well, true I am, but they are not available anywhere in the USA right now and God knows when they will be again, times have changed and with change comes sacrifice, so I am open to suggestions, even if the sidewall is fugly at this point...

Have had both, the AVS 100's do have a shorter thread wear and produce more noise. The traction I have found about the same, maybe AVS's better in the dry but worse in the wet if anything. However I have just fitted AVS's again to the na and the reasons are: The sidewall protection is very good, the wide lip provides excellent protection for my newly polished Fuchs that I have on this car and, the thread pattern just looks much better, like it should do the job better. We all have our reasons I suppose.
